To create a TEAM of like minded people to explore and record all the history in our area
Our area is roughly bounded by Hollands Track to the North, Dundas to the East, the Southern Ocean in the South, and the No1 RPF. With Frank Hann National Park at its center.
To have an Allegiance to the Ravensthorpe Historical Society.
This website is designed to inform and educate those interested in our activities "East of the Number 1 RPF". It is my goal to bring together people with all minds and talents, to learn, share and enjoy the uniqueness of our area. To unlock its vast secrets and expose its Beauty and Historical Heritage.
The Penny Family.
The Penny Family moved from Meckering to Lake King in 1969 and set out as new land farmers. From 1967 they successfully worked farms to the East of the district since, adjacent to the No1 RPF, over several decades. The attachment to the district and intimate knowledge has enabled the collection of the rich history.
